1. Introduction

This document (“Terms”) governs your access to and use of Bloomology.org (the “Site”) and our services.

Effective Date: August 2, 2025

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Bloomology provides resources, programs, event registrations, and opportunities for donations aimed at survivor empowerment and creative healing (collectively, the “Services”). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site or Services at our discretion.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have legal authority to enter into these Terms.

4. User Accounts

Registration: Certain Services require account creation. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

Credentials: You are responsible for safeguarding your username and password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Termination: We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

5. User Conduct

Use the Site for unlawful purposes or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law

Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property or privacy rights

Post or transmit harmful content, including malware or spam

Interfere with the security or operation of the Site

8. Donations, Purchases & Payments

Processing: All payments (donations, ticket purchases, program fees) are processed by secure third-party providers. Bloomology does not store full payment card data.

Refunds & Cancellations: Unless otherwise stated, all donations are final. Event or program fees may be refundable at our discretion—please review the specific refund policy for each offering.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at Bloomology.org/privacy.

10. Disclaimers

No Warranty: The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

Accuracy: We strive for accuracy but make no guarantees regarding completeness or timeliness of content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloomology and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or Services.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bloomology and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Site.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above. Continued use of the Site after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
